MAG Program

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Program

360 Gymnastics provides a fantastic Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Program and has a new dedicated MAG area that is equipped with all the necessary equipment supplied by SPIETH Gymnastics (current Olympic, Commonwealth and World Championship suppliers).

360 Gymnastics is committed to the growth of our MAG Program and looks forward to a very successful future.

MAG Junior Development Program

Our MAG Junior Development Program is a great introduction into the base level of men’s competitive gymnastics.

Boys will work to the Men’s Australian Levels Program in Levels 1 to 2.

Ages of athletes range from 5 to 8 years old with the class duration for Level 1 being 60 minutes once per week and Level 2 being 120 minutes once or twice per week.

In this Program, the boys will:

  • Develop an introduction to competitive gymnastics

  • Build basic levels of strength and prepare their bodies for higher level gymnastics

  • Enhance co-ordination and agility which will help for all sporting activity not just gymnastics

  • Help in developing a base discipline level focusing on listening skills, ability to follow directions, independence in completing tasks and awareness of their surroundings from a spacial perspective

  • Develop structure and organisational skills for life

MAG JNR Program

 

In this Program, gymnasts will start to develop a higher skill set with emphasise on higher levels of competition and dedication to the sport.

This level requires the athlete to compete in the Australian Levels Program at Level 3 - 6.

Ages of athletes range from 8 to 12 years.

In this Program, the boys will develop:

  • Higher skill levels and consolidation of basic technique to provide a strong foundation for future skill development

  • More sophisticated strength attributes, including held strength elements and slow moving strength from one position to another

  • A strong sense of self discipline and understanding of commitment

  • An increased relationship with their peers and coaching staff
